MATCH PREVIEW
San Jose have a tricky challenge. The club must travel across the country to play a midweek match after playing a game on the weekend. San Jose actually played Friday, which gives the team an extra day’s rest.
However, San Jose will surely have tired legs coming into this match. The club have shown a fighting spirit thus far, scoring stoppage-time goals in the last two home matches to salvage draws.
New England meanwhile started thinking ahead to this match early against Chicago. With the club down to 10 men and losing 2-0, manager Jay Heaps gave up and took out some of his key players.
Striker Kei Kamara, forward Juan Agudelo and midfielder Lee Nguyen all left the Chicago match early in the second half presumable to rest for this match.
New England will be more rested for this match and will take advantage of the calendar to get some points at home. New England will win.

HEAD TO HEAD
New England are unbeaten in their last four matches against San Jose, having last lost to the Earthquakes in 2012.
