MATCH PREVIEW
MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN

Everton VM did not produce a good performance in their 3-0 loss away to Audax Italiano ahead of the international break, but the final score did not do them justice as it was simply one of those games where nothing seems to work out. However, despite that loss, Everton VM should not find it difficult to bounce back at home here. They are unbeaten at the Estadio Sausalito, with two wins and a draw in three matches as well as a 8:2 goal ratio in front of their own fans.
Curico Unido lost 1-0 away from home against Antofagasta in their last Transicion match and were beaten again by the same opponents on penalties in the Chile cup last Sunday. However, they have been decent on their travels, with two wins and two losses, but there is no question they will be depleted for this one. They will miss four starters due to injuries and suspensions, so manager Luis Marcoleta will have to get creative to assemble a competitive starting XI despite the absentees.
Everton VM have the better squad, play better at home and should be better prepared for this one. Expect them to keep all three points at home.

SECOND PREDICTION: TEAM TO SCORE FIRST – EVERTON VM

Everton VM have scored the first goal in two of their three home matches thus far. Expect that trend to continue in this game, especially against a Curico Unido side who have conceded the opening goal in three of their last four games.

HEAD TO HEAD
Everton VM have a slight edge in this head-to-head against Curico Unido, having registered four wins, three draws and three losses over the past ten meetings between both clubs.
