MATCH PREVIEW
MAIN PREDICTION: DRAW

Puebla climbed off the foot of the league table after holding out for a goalless draw away to Santos Laguna in their last outing. The hosts dominated the game, but Enrique Meza’s side did well to keep a clean sheet and claim their eighth point of the season. The bad news is that Puebla have now scored just six times in 11 matches and have no chance of making the playoffs.
Queretaro squandered an early lead and then came from behind to claim a 2-2 draw at home to league leaders Monterrey before the international break. Camilo Sanvezzo’s 94th minute penalty earned his side an impressive point against the current best team in the country. However, Jaime Lozano’s men have only won two of their 11 games this season and they are also unlikely to make the playoffs, but that point could prove valuable in the race to avoid relegation.
Puebla are winless in their last six league games, while Queretaro have not won any of their last seven. As neither side looks capable of claiming victory, the smart bet is on a draw.

SECOND PREDICTION: TOTAL GOALS – TWO

Puebla’s fixtures have averaged just under two goals per game this season while Queretaro’s matches have produced just over 2.5 goals per game. There is a good chance that we will see two goals on Friday.

HEAD TO HEAD
Puebla’s last four meetings with Queretaro have produced two draws and one win for either side.
