Robins to keep momentum ticking with another win on Tuesday
-----------------------------------
TEAM NEWS
Bristol City will be without Gary O’Neil, Famara Diedhiou and Nathan Baker for Tuesday’s clash with Preston at Ashton Gate.
Gregory Cunningham is doubt with a knee problem while Sean Maguire is sidelined with a hamstring injury for Alex Neil’s Preston.

MATCH PREVIEW
MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN

Bristol City are in fine form as they sit fourth in the Championship table on 31 points. Despite being held to a goalless draw at Sheff Wednesday at the weekend, City have been defeated in just one of their last 18 fixtures in all competitions. In fact, the Robins have lost the fewest matches in the division up until now.
In contrast, Preston have been heading in the opposite direction of late. After a stunning start, which saw Alex Neil’s troops battling for the automatic promotion places, no wins in seven has seen North End slip down to 14th in the table. The Lilywhites have not won since seeing off Hull City at the KCOM Stadium back in September.
Going by the form guide, this looks a certain home win. The Robins may have picked up slightly more points away from home than at Ashton Gate, but they have only been beaten once on home soil. Back Bristol City to claim another victory on Tuesday.

SECOND PREDICTION: FIRST TEAM TO SCORE – BRISTOL CITY

Bristol City have opened the scoring in three of their four home league wins this term. I fancy Bristol City to score first on Tuesday too.

HEAD TO HEAD
When these two last met back in April 2017, Preston ran out big 5-0 winners at Deepdale.
