MATCH PREVIEW
MAIN PREDICTION: AWAY WIN

Almere City, as usual, couldn’t gain much from the match against Cambuur on Friday. They travelled to Leeuwarden for the tenth time in the head-to-head’s history and suffered their tenth away defeat, although, on a positive, they only lost by a one-goal scoreline.  Silvester van der Water put them in front in the 33rd minute, but they couldn’t hold on to the three points and eventually lost 2-1. Almere have been struggling of late and have now lost five out of their last six games. However, they still look fairly decent in tenth in the league standings.
Fourth-placed Telstar were upset by 18th-placed Helmond on Friday as they unexpectedly lost their home match 3-2. Melvin Platje did put Telstar ahead 1-0 in the 23rd minute and equalised for the 2-2 15 minutes from time, but his 11th and 12th goal of the season were not enough. This ended their streak of four games without a loss, but on a positive note, it only marks their second loss in the last 12 games.
Almere have been far from impressive lately while Telstar are coming off an unexpected defeat but can bounce back here.

SECOND PREDICTION: HILO - HIGH

Both sides have allowed almost two goals per game this season, Almere City 1.93 and Telstar 1.89 goals per game. This could see both sides concede quite a few goals here.

HEAD TO HEAD
Almere City have defeated Telstar in six out of their 12 encounters at home and they registered a 2-0 home win last season. However, they were beaten by four goals to nil when the teams last met at Telstar in October.
