Hull: Lost the momentum recently (Recent Form: LWLDWL)

Hull City again finds themselves in a some sort of a bad run, as the club is having huge ups and downs recently, but this time I think it is just normal to lose a couple of games after such an amazing run before that and that they will get back on the right track pretty soon. The team is currently in the middle of the table, having the same amount of victories and defeats after the opening thirty one league games played (12-7-12) and right now sitting seven points behind the top six and the playoff zone. But given in mind that they were in the relegation zone in the most part of the first third of the season, surely the seven points deficit looks like a good sign right now and keeps their chances alive, as before the start of the campaign they were expected to battle for the top positions. The team won just once in their last four league games (1-1-2), slowing the tempo significantly, having in mind that in their previous eight league games they collected twenty two of the maximum twenty four points (7-1-0). But like I said, this is quite normal for that league and you cannot keep such amazing runs for that long. Also, it is important to be mentioned that both defeats in this period were away from home, while in front of their fans right now Hull is on a run of five victories in a row in the Championship, keeping four clean sheets and scoring the impressive sixteen goals.

Rotherham: Awful run (Recent Form: DDLLLL)

Rotherham continues with their struggle in the Championship, just like it was expected before the start of the season. They are currently just a point ahead of the relegation zone, without a win in six games in all competitions (0-2-4), as well as having managed to win just once in their last sixteen games in all competitions. The team is also still without a victory away from home in all tournaments, collecting five points from their fifteen visits in the Championship so far (0-5-10).

The Betting Verdict:

Hull should not be having much problems here, they continue to play great football at home and against one of the worst away sides the three points are without an alternative.
