Home win for the Jong side
-----------------------------------
TEAM NEWS
Bram van Vlerken returns for Jong PSV Eindhoven after a suspension. PSV have signed Maximilian Romero and he could play a few games for Jong PSV. Sam Lammers is also a strong possibility as the striker has been impressive in the second tier, scoring seven goals in nine games.
Helmond are still without the pair of Brandon Ormonde-Ottewil and Maikel Verkoelen.

MATCH PREVIEW
MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN

Jong PSV Eindhoven are finding themselves in a respectable fifth position at the half-way mark of the campaign. With nine wins and only six losses they have been fairly impressive and look to continue with their decent results. They headed into the winter break on the back of two wins after beating both Almere City and Dordrecht by 3-2 scorelines.
Helmond will see the remainder of the season as one big struggle. The side have managed a few points here and there lately and have moved into 18th position, but their three wins overall have kept them near the bottom of the league. However, on a positive note, their goal difference of -8 isn’t too dreadful and a continuation of their good run before the winter break could potentially see them gaining a few places.
Jong PSV have won four of their last five home matches and shouldn’t find it difficult to dispatch a poor side like Helmond. Home win.

SECOND PREDICTION: FIRST HALF HAD – HOME WIN

Jong PSV Eindhoven have been winning at half time in their past five home matches. Helmond haven’t managed a single first-half goal in their last four away games. I think the hosts will be leading after 45 minutes.

HEAD TO HEAD
Jong PSV Eindhoven have won three of their four home meetings with Helmond, including last season when they claimed a 3-0 win. Jong PSV also beat Helmond away this season in the second round, winning 2-1.
